In a months time, the second year of my six year BSc Design & Innovation with the Open University starts. As a distance learning university, many of the courses rely on some excellent written materials. Course materials typically get sent out some four weeks before course starts. With 175,000 students registered for courses, that is a lot of books.
Book dispatch is a site where staff and students can see the dates and rollout of book dispatch for courses. Visit HERE.
Course materials are available in multiple formats or people with special requirements and texts are available digitally in range of formats. This makes studying on the go really easy.
As of today, my partner has received half of her books for her 2 modules (language modules) and I am still waiting. Certainly not stressed about it. The course site opens next week, so we can access everything electronically. I will call dispatch if resources are not here in a few weeks time.
