Whilst the course has not started it is certainly getting closer. A couple of things have happened this week.
We have been given our tutor details. Tutors, formally called Associate Lecturers, are the academics / practitioners that guide our learning over the course of the year. They provide our tutorials and mark most of our assignments.
We have also been given our tutorial options. Tutorials are spread across the length of the course and are provided as face to face or virtual (delvered by Adobe Connect, a great online learning delivery platform). I have chosen sessions that are face to face where possible. I am away out of the country for one set, so will do that one virtually.
I have taken the time to play around with one of the getting up to speed activities, which is to carry out an activity with a paper bag: Brainstorm as many uses for a paper bag in a few minutes, draw one of them on the bag and then submit it to the assignment system with a document:
