Earlier this week I took part in a Podcast with Yuri Malishenko.
In the session we explored some of my experience and ideas around visual thinking:
- Visual Thinking does not have to be drawing
- The power resides with participants
- Templates / maps and visual canvases help raise scalability of visual thinking
- Simple basics are the foundation: drawing and clear hand writing
- Daily practice helps build up the memory muscle
If you are interested in visual thinking and its difference uses Yuri’s podcast is worth a listen.
You can find my interview and the series HERE for Spotify and HERE for iTunes/Apple.
I would love to get your feedback!
Andi, thanks a ton to you and Yuri for making the effort.
Never had I considered a fall-back plan with someone co-hosting a remote session is case a fire alarm went off.
The time management coaching session with execs from the north of Spain was such an interesting view: from presenting the approach to have a first layer of issues brought down to paper for all to see to then layer the solutions as post-it on top, again visible to all; actually, I had not expected at all that travel time would be such an issue.
The stick figure approach resonated a lot with me: making participants aware that is is not about the quality of drawing but about the idea instead- such a valuable lesson: thanks for sharing those!
Thanks Thomas for the feedback. Glad the podcast was helpful!
