As I was putting together today a webinar on the MHS EQi model and looking at the sub facet of “flexibility”, I wanted to share some resources around learning agility.
Whilst there are many definitions of learning agility, I quite like this one from Monique Vacour in her HBR article “4 Ways to become a better learner“. She states that learning agility is the capacity for rapid continuous learning from experience. It means giving up what may have worked in the past.
These are in no particular order:
- A report from Korn-Ferry on the “types” of learning agility found in leaders. HERE.
- An article by the head of Korn-Ferry executive development on the five dimensions of learning agility: HERE.
- A 7 page white-paper from Harvard on Learning Agility (requires leaving details): HERE
- A good over article by RALF KNEGTMANS that looks at the five dimensions: HERE.
- Center for Creative Leadership’s 16 page white-paper on the facets of learning agility: HERE.
Do you have any good resources to share on learning agility? if so, let me know by commenting below or reaching out via another social medium!
